How RepairNowUSA uses AI
RepairNowUSA uses AI software as a tool, the same way it uses spreadsheets or search engines. People are responsible for what is published and for how the service runs. This page explains where AI is used and the limits we hold it to. Our Editorial Standards describe the full publishing process.

Where AI is used
- Research support: finding and summarizing public guidance from agencies such as the EPA, CDC, OSHA, FEMA and the U.S. Fire Administration, which is then checked against the original source.
- Drafting and editing: first drafts of page sections, plain-language rewrites and consistency checks across pages.
- Technical work: building and testing website code, checking links, structured data, page speed and mobile layout.
- Operations support: organizing call-routing settings, reports and documentation for review.
What AI never does here
- It does not invent reviews, ratings, testimonials, customer stories or reviewer names.
- It does not invent credentials, licenses, provider coverage, response times or prices.
- It does not diagnose your property or decide whether a situation is safe. Pages tell you when to call 911, the gas utility or the electric utility.
- It does not decide which provider performs work on your property. Independent providers confirm scope, timing and price with you directly.
How safety guidance is checked
Pages that touch gas, electrical, carbon monoxide, flooding, sewage, structural or fire hazards are treated as safety-critical. Their safety steps are limited to actions that reduce risk, such as leaving the building or shutting off water at a valve you know, and they point to emergency services or utilities first. Factual claims are checked against named public sources, and each page shows the date it was last substantively reviewed.
Photos and images
Photos on RepairNowUSA illustrate common repair situations. They do not show RepairNowUSA staff, specific providers or specific completed jobs, because RepairNowUSA does not perform repairs.

Questions
Is the information on RepairNowUSA written by AI?
Some sections are drafted with AI assistance, then checked against public sources and reviewed before publishing. People are responsible for what is published.
Will an AI answer my call?
Calls are handled by a phone menu that routes you to a participating provider or network. If an automated voice feature is used in the menu, it only helps route the call; it does not diagnose your problem.
Can AI-written safety advice be trusted?
Safety steps are limited to risk-reducing actions and point to 911 or the utility for gas, electrical, fire and similar hazards. If anything looks unsafe or wrong, report it through the Corrections Policy.
Are the photos real jobs?
No. Photos illustrate common situations and do not show RepairNowUSA staff, specific providers or specific completed jobs.
