Shut it off
Main valve if needed
If there are no fixture valves, or they will not turn, close the main water valve.
Dry the cabinet
Empty the cabinet and dry it so the base does not swell or grow mold.
Braided supply lines can burst
Old or kinked supply lines under sinks and toilets are a common cause of sudden floods. If one is bulging or weeping, keep the valve closed until it is replaced.
